Pre-Conference Training

Pre-Conference training gives you and your team's the opportunity to dive further into applicable tool stacks so that you can advance your skills and take the most advantage out of your systems or systems of interest.

 

This year's Pre-Conference Training is broken into three distinct program types:

This training opportunity is designed for those who may be new to AssetWorks and our solutions or any employee, manager, or leader who wants to better understand and learn the essentials at the heart of our solutions. 

 

Admin Training + Certification

Admin Training and Certification

An immersive training and certification program for admins to gain more value out of your current systems. Select up to TWO program tracks to become certified in. 

Supervisors Toolkit

Supervisor Tool Kit

In this training course, we will cover a varied set of topics that are common to the maintenance supervisor role, as well as functions in AiM that are most applicable.

Program 1

Fundamentals

 

Fundamentals

This training opportunity is designed for those who may be new to AssetWorks and our solutions or any employee, manager, or leader who wants to better understand and learn the essentials at the heart of our solutions. Topics that we will cover include:

  • Introduction to the product suite and the product goal
  • Key Concepts and Entities
  • The Importance of Assets
  • Introduction to Inventory
  • Request Intake and next steps
  • Work Classification and Preventive Maintenace
  • Job Costing (Time/Materials/Contract expenses)

After training, attendees should have a better understanding of the AiM functions and have the tools to take back to their organization to get more value out of AiM on a daily basis.

 

Program 2

ADMIN TRAINING + CERTIFICATION

Choose from a series of certifications and toolkits. Pick up to 2 to complete over the course of AssetWorld 2022.

Advanced Business Automation

This comprehensive training program is designed to provide scriptwriters with a guide to automation to advance their skills in developing business automation modules. Sessions will be led and staffed by a team of veteran AssetWorks developers to ensure that attendees have access to our subject matter experts as they work through the program. In addition, attendees will be coached to develop automation scripts with the same techniques that AssetWorks engineers use.

 

After training, attendees will take the AssetWorks Advanced Business Automation Assessment, which consists of an exam that covers the modules reviewed during the training. Participants will be allowed access to any course material distributed prior to the assessment and any class notes collected during the training. A score of 70% or greater is required for certification. Upon successfully completing the assessment, the trainee will receive the AssetWorks Advanced Business Automation Certification. This certification establishes that the recipient can demonstrate the outlined standards and skills required to build automated solutions compatible with AiM’s Business Automation engine

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have experience with SQL, a basic understanding of AiM, and strong experience with JavaScript.

Standard Data Connector

This training program is designed to expose system administrators to the AiM Standard Data Connector functionality. Attendees will be coached on how to deploy and configure Standard Data Connectors in AiM and pull/push data between AiM and other external applications.

 

After training, attendees will take the Standard Data Connector Assessment, which covers the modules reviewed during the training. Participants will be allowed access to any course material distributed prior to the assessment and any class notes collected during the training. A score of 70% or greater is required for certification. Upon successfully completing the assessment, the trainee will receive the AssetWorks Standard Data Connector Certification. This certification establishes that the recipient can demonstrate the outlined standards and skills required to deploy AssetWorks Standard Data Connectors.

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have experience with AiM, be familiar with JSON and have familiarity with integrating software systems.

 

ReADY Request - Desktop & iPhone

 

ReADY Request

Are you looking to leverage the power of ReADY Request to streamline business processes and improve communications within your organization? Then this immersive training on how to configure ReADY Request to automate more and more of your facilities processes may be just what your ReADY Request administrator needs. In this training series, attendees will learn how to design request forms using all the ReADY Request capabilities and design workflows that optimize the process for all those involved.

 

After training, attendees will take the AssetWorks ReADY Request Administration Assessment, which consists of multiple-choice questions and a form design exercise. A score of 70% or greater is required for certification. Receiving the AssetWorks ReADY Request Administration Certification demonstrates that an administrator has a clearly defined standard of knowledge of ReADY Request and the skills necessary to automate business processes using the tool.

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have a basic understanding of AiM Work Management.

 

ReADY Space Floor Plan - Desktop

 

ReADY Space

Are you looking to leverage the power of ReADY Space to share Property and Space information with the campus community and implement a robust Space Survey function? Then this immersive training on how to set up, configure and manage ReADY Space may be just what your Space Management team needs. Attendees will learn how to implement and manage ReADY Space, configure it for Single Room Updates, configure what data can be exposed and who should see it, and design Space Survey templates and workflows to manage the business-critical space survey audits.

 

After training, attendees will take the AssetWorks ReADY Space Administration Assessment. A score of 70% or greater is required for certification. Receiving the AssetWorks ReADY Space Administration Certification demonstrates that an administrator has a clearly defined standard of knowledge and the skills necessary to deploy and manage ReADY Space.

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have a basic understanding of AiM Space Management.

AiM IQ API

Are you looking to leverage the power of AiM IQ both in AiM and external tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or others? Then this immersive training may be right for you. This training will introduce the fundamentals of AiM IQ within AiM, with the primary focus being on the REST API available with IQ. Attendees will be lead through a step-by-step process for how to get data from saved AiM searches as well as directly from tables/views via the IQ REST API and utilize the functions in the commonly available tools (like MS Excel and MS PowerBI) to start to model data and start generating reports/analytics and dashboards.

 

After training, attendees will take the AssetWorks AiM IQ Administration Assessment. A score of 70% or greater is required for certification. Receiving the AssetWorks AIM IQ Administrator Certification demonstrates that an administrator has a clearly defined standard of knowledge and the skills required to deploy and manage AIM IQ's REST API usage with other reporting and business intelligence solutions.

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have at least a basic understanding of AiM. Familiarity with REST and JSON would be preferred but is not required.

 

WorkDesk-2-M

 

WorkDesk Training Toolkit

Are you looking to leap from the Classic WorkDesk to the new modern dashboard style WorkDesk? Then this immersive training might be right for you. This training program will go through the detailed components that make a WorkDesk (widgets, cards, grids, reports, and dashboards) and the groups that provide access. In addition, attendees will learn the AssetWorks recommended planning and execution steps to migrate your organization from your existing WorkDesk deployment to the new dashboard style.

 

Course Requirements: Attendees should have a basic understanding of AiM and its search functions.
